About Me
Hi,
I’m Yamini
I’m a mindfulness practitioner, trainer, and educator, trained in Mindfulness-based Cognitive
Therapy (MBCT) at the Mindfulness Centre, School of Public Health, Brown University, USA -
which basically means I’ve studied the science of how ‘not’ to lose your mind when life throws its
usual curveballs, and how to navigate the challenging times.
Over the years, I’ve found that mindfulness isn’t about escaping the messiness of life; it’s about
learning to sit with it, breathe through it, and maybe even smile at it (on a good day). It’s about
being present with our experiences, not perfect.
I created The Present Moment because I believe mental health care should be human, heartfelt, and
helpful, not something buried under clinical jargon or locked away in inaccessible systems.
In a world that glorifies hustle and distraction, I intend to help people pause, listen, and feel. And
help them remember that they are not broken, but they’re just busy being human. Through
mindfulness, I help people learn how to live with their mind, not against it.

Who I Work With ?
I work with:
-
Individuals seeking therapy and self-awareness
-
Organisations building mindful cultures and resilience
-
Educators and students bringing mindfulness into education
-
Anyone curious about slowing down and living more intentionally
I bring a blend of science, soul, and a little wit to the table. My work is trauma-sensitive, culturally grounded, and rooted in the simple but radical idea that awareness changes everything.

Connect with Us
So if you’re curious about how stillness can move things, how slowing down can actually help you
get unstuck, or how mindfulness can make your mind a kinder place to live in, you’re in the right
space.
Let’s work together to make mental health care less intimidating, more intuitive, and a whole lot
more present.
